How to Check Gift Card Balance
The general rule
Every platform shows the balance in your account after the code is redeemed. You can't look up the balance on an unredeemed card — that's an anti-fraud rule against stolen codes and phishing. So below: where to find the balance on each service once you've redeemed.
Apple
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → View Account. The balance is at the top of the page. On Mac: App Store, account name at the bottom-left, Account Information.
Steam
Open the Steam client or store.steampowered.com. Wallet balance sits in the top-right next to your username. Full history under Account → Purchase History.
Google Play
Inside the Google Play Store app: profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Payment methods. The "Google Play balance" line shows what you have.
PlayStation
On store.playstation.com and the PlayStation mobile app, the balance sits next to your avatar in the top-right. On the console the path is longer: Settings → Users and Accounts → Wallet.
Xbox
account.microsoft.com/billing or the Xbox app. Microsoft Account balance shows under Payments & billing. It's shared between Xbox, Windows Store, and Microsoft 365, so spending on any of them draws from the same pool.
Netflix and Spotify
Netflix balance lives under Account → Membership Details, which also tells you how many months of subscription are paid forward. Spotify: Account → Available gift cards.
If the code hasn't been redeemed yet
The face value is only on the receipt or in the seller's email. With Kodshop, the denomination and region are always shown on the product page and in the code delivery email, so you don't need a separate balance check. Lost the email? The order and its amount are always in your kodshop.cloud account.
Balance after redemption doesn't match what you paid for? Email support@support.kodshop.cloud with a screenshot and we'll sort it out.
