Turn on data roaming for the eSIM line in your cellular settings. Most phones will automatically detect the network, but roaming must be enabled — otherwise you will not get data. Also make sure the eSIM line is set as your primary data source.
Which networks operate in Indonesia and what coverage can I expect?
Indonesia's main operators are Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo, and XL Axiata. 4G LTE coverage is solid on Bali, in Jakarta, and in major tourist hubs. Remote islands, rainforest areas in Kalimantan, or Papua may have limited or no coverage.
