FAQ
Why should I buy a Riot Access gift card for the US region instead of another region?
The US region uses USD pricing, so you skip currency conversion fees and pay the same in-game prices as local players. That can save 5-15% against a region with a weaker currency or extra taxes.
How do I set up a Riot Access account in the United States?
Go to account.riotgames.com, click 'Create Account', and select 'United States' as your country during registration. You'll need a valid email and a US-based address (any real or placeholder address works for verification).
Can I use a US-region gift card on an account registered in another country?
No. The card's region must match the account's registered region. If your account is set to Russia or Brazil, a US card won't redeem. You'd create a new US account or change your account region (limited to once every few months).
What currencies and payment methods are accepted for US-region gift cards on KodShop?
Only cryptocurrency is accepted on this store: USDT, BTC, ETH and other major coins, with no card or bank-transfer option. The card is delivered digitally in USD value and redeemed at face value on Riot's US store.
How long does it take to receive the gift card code after purchase?
The code is emailed within seconds of payment. Most orders arrive in under 30 seconds, and any delay is usually payment processing (up to 2 minutes for some methods).
